Boosted Low Speed Torque (BLAST)
Honda’s revolutionary BLAST™ technology provides strong hole shot performance, getting the hull on the plane quicker. This air/fuel ratio and ignition-timing technology boosts engine torque at low RPM under rapid acceleration conditions. It’s NMEA compatible, meaning all engine data including speed, fuel consumption, cruising distance, etc. can be displayed on the GPS screen.

Updated Drive By Wire (DBW) – More Control
Accompanying the drive by wire outboards is an new remote controller to help make the most of all the intuitive features. Dual Channel Induction
A dual-channel, indirect induction system improves airflow while helping funnel moisture away from the throttle body. This system provides for cooler, denser air for better combustion as compared to conventional under-cowl induction systems.
AMP+
At idle speeds, AMP+ automatically increases the RPM by 100 to produce an additional 9 extra amps when the engine senses a need for additional amperage. This helps prevent critical battery drain, a concern if you’re fishing kilometres offshore. Ideal for when accessories such as Sonar, GPS, Lighting, Stereo, Live Wells and Trolling Motors are all operating simultaneously.
