Boosted Low Speed Torque (BLAST)
Honda’s revolutionary BLAST™ technology provides strong hole shot performance, getting the hull on the plane quicker. This air/fuel ratio and ignition-timing technology boosts engine torque at low RPM under rapid acceleration conditions. It’s NMEA compatible, meaning all engine data including speed, fuel consumption, cruising distance, etc can be displayed on the GPS screen.

Dual Overhead Cam (DOHC)
A powerful, compact 16-valve DOHC design creates more valve lift to pull in more air for increased horsepower. The low-maintenance design allows easy adjustment of the rocker arms. No multiple shims or trial-and-error adjusting needed.
On Demand Charging
Honda’s proven ‘on demand’ belt-driven alternator reduces heat build-up and provides superior battery charging capability. 55amp total, with 30amp charging at 1000RPM and 40amp+ charging above 2000RPM. The Automatic Idle Charge system meets increasing demand from onboard electronic equipment. If electrical demand increases at idle speed, the alternator automatically produces a higher output.
ECOmo – Lean Burn Control
Honda’s Lean Burn Control technology, ECOmo, maximises fuel efficiency by adjusting the air/fuel mixture according to speed and load. Offering significantly improved fuel consumption over direct injection two-stroke and competing four-stroke models. It’s class leading performance.
