You’ll get best in class charging performance with the BF40 thanks to a 17 Amp charging alternator. Allowing your outboard to charge the battery faster and power more accessories, so that you can now run a bit of extra tech on the boat to help you find the perfect catch.
Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI)
Honda’s renowned Programmed Fuel Injection is controlled by an advanced Engine Control Unit (ECU). Engine sensors precisely control the supply of fuel to the engine, providing easy starting, instantaneous throttle response and superior fuel economy.
Standard Rigging Kit Included
The BF40 remote models come with our standard Honda remote, analogue gauges, aluminium propeller and wiring. Everything you need to get out on the water easier. Multi-Function Tiller Handle
The BF40’s multi-function tiller handle incorporates a power trim-tilt switch in the tiller handle, so the operator can trim the engine while underway and remain completely focused on the water. It also has a reversible shift lever, which can be mounted on the left or right side.
4-Front Corrosion Protection
Honda’s patented 4-Front corrosion paint process creates a tight barrier between the engine and environment. This double sealed, multi-layered process helps to keep your engine looking and performing like new.
